About DSPM

"Tamso Maa Jyotirgamaya"

Translated, it reads " O' Lord, lead us from darkness of ignorance to the light of knowledge." The founding members Dr. Prabhakar Rao, Shri. Prabhakar R. Desai, Shri S.V. Datar, Dr. Venimadhvan Upasani and Shri S.W. Patwari of the Dombivli Shikshan Prasarak Mandal were inspired by this profound vedic verse to create premium educational institutions, that will have enlightened minds over the decades.

The Sister Nivedita High School

The school was established in 1974. It is a secondary school, run for English and Marathi medium students. The institution continues to be the torchbearer of DSPM.

   K.V. Pendharkar College

K.V. Pendharkar College was established in 1979 and has grown in stature to provide quality education for the students pursuing their bachelor's, master's degrees & doctorates in various faculties.

Adhering to the needs of new generation, the visionary zeal of the founding members has manifested into an international school that will enhance the knowledge of children from Thane, Dombivli and other nearby areas. This school aims to impart education that is at par with stringent international standards.
