Dear Parents,

This is to inform you that since the Academic year is about to get over and your ward will be entering into the Primary Section of the school i.e. Grade 1, we need to complete the formalities of filling up the admission form for the same. You are requested to complete the form filling procedure by visiting the school from 5th March, 2016 (Saturday) till 12th March, 2016 (Saturday) from 9.00 am till 3.00 pm. You are requested to bring along the documents/photographs as given below:

  • A self-attested copy of the Residence proof (Passport/ Electricity bill/ Telephone bill/Aadhar card/) in case of any change in address.
  • Recent passport-size photographs of the child (2 nos.).
  • Recent passport size photographs of Father, Mother & the Guardian for the Admission Form.
  • Recent stamp-size coloured photographs (one each) of the student, the student’s Mother, Father and a Guardian for the Parents’ pass in an envelope mentioning the name and grade of the ward behind each photograph.

Also, you are requested to pay the instalments of fees for the Academic year 2016-17 by current dated & post-dated cheques only, in favour of Prabhakar Desai International School, along with the same.

Dear Parents,

This is to inform you that the CDs’ for the Academic year 2015-16 (Annual Sports & Radiance 2016) are made available for the parents. A set of 5 CDs has been given to the grade-wise PTA members. The parents can get the CDs copied from the PTA members.

The set can be made available by the school as well at a charge of Rs. 250/- per set.

Note
In order to get the CD from the school, the parents can pay the charges in a sealed envelope addressing the Class teacher mentioning the name and grade of the child latest by 2nd March 2016(Wednesday).

    Special Conditions:

    • This insurance is subjected to exclusion of all pre-existing illness/disabilities.
    • Special Exclusion: any claim related to nuclear, chemical and biological terrorism is excluded from the scope of the policy.
    • Unnamed policy. Sum insured per student Rs. 50,000/- against the coverage of Accidental Death only.
    • Coverage not exceeding Rs. 50,000/- per student for Hospitalization Medical Expenses incurred as inpatient for grievous injuries arising out of accidents only.
    • OPD cover is restricted to Rs. 1,000/- only, for grievous injuries arising out of accidents only.
      • OPD can be granted duly recommended by the Principal and certified doctor.
    • It is hereby warranted that

    With immense pleasure, PDIS is announcing the commencement of 'Abacus Education Program' for Kindergarten Section from this year i.e. Academic Year 2015 -16. Classes will be conducted on every Saturday between 9:30 am to 11: 30 am. Parents have to take responsibility for pick and drop of their ward.     Abacus Education Program:

    Our brain is a thinking organ that learns and grows by interacting with information through perception and action. Mental stimulation improves brain function and actually protects against cognitive decline, as does physical exercise. Mental Functions like ability to memorize, ability to concentrate, ability to analyze, listening skills, creative intelligence, play a key role in making our children acquire knowledge, understand and possibly create and present distinct information out of the same.

    PDIS is arranging a field trip for the Pre-primary section. It will involve a bus trip in the surrounding area. Major utilities like bank, Post office, Petrol pump, Temple, Hospital, Railway station etc. will be shown to the students from the bus itself. This trip shall make the children familiar with their neighbourhood.

    The schedule of the trip is given below. You are requested to make a note of the same and send the consent form filled along with your ward by 31st of July, 2015.
