SUB : MR Vaccination

Dear Parents,

This is to bring to your notice that, Measles is highly infectious, potentially fatal disease mostly affecting children and Rubella is a mild viral infection affecting both children as well as adult. To eliminate Measles and control Rubella and congenital Rubella syndrome Government of India has introduced Measles- Rubella (MR) Vaccine.

The Measles Rubella (MR) Vaccination campaign will be conducted on 13th December, 2018. (Thursday) in the school premises at 9:30am Sharp.

It is mandatory for all the students to take this vaccination. Parents are requested to fill the consent form and send it by 12th December, 2018 (Wednesday).


Important Note:

• Children need to have heavy and healthy breakfast before vaccination.
• Parents need to accompany their ward for this campaign.
• No regular classes will be conducted on 13th December, 2018 (Thursday).
• No bus facility will be provided.
• Those students who are suffering from cold or fever will not be vaccinated.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Jr.KG Students will come in morning session at 8:30 am to 12:30pm on 12th December, 2018 (Wednesday) & 14th December, 2018 (Friday) for Sports day practice.

SUB : Sports Day Postponed

27^th Nov, 2018

Dear Parents,

This is to inform you that, the sports day which was scheduled on 8th December, 2018 (Saturday) is postponed to 15th December, 2018(Saturday)(only for Kindergarten section) which will be held in the school premises. Student reporting time on sports day will be 8:15am and dispersal time will be 11:30pm.


Important Note:

• No regular class will be conducted on 30th November, 2018(Friday) on account of primary picnic.
• The 4th Open day and workshop which were scheduled on 15th December, 2018 are postponed to 5th January, 2019(Saturday). The time schedule for the same will be intimated to you soon.

SUB : Picnic

Dear Parents,

This is to inform you that, the school picnic for pre-primary section (Nursery, Jr.KG and Sr.KG) is scheduled on 25th October, 2018 (i.e.) Thursday to Anand Sagar Resort, Ambernath.

Instructions:

• Please fill up the consent form and send it along with your child latest by 22nd October, 2018. (Monday).

Picnic Instructions:

• Students should wear their P.E. uniform and sandals.
• Students must wear Lycra material T – Shirt & Shorts (inside their uniform). They should carry a napkin, water bottle, towel, cap, 2 Cloth bags, school bag and 1 set of undergarments (all the belongings should be labeled with name and grade).
• If your ward is having motion sickness, please give him/her medicine in advance.
• Regular pick-up and drop-off will be available for students who avail regular transport facility.
• There will be holiday on 26th October, 2018(Friday).

SUB : Grandparents’ Day & Navratri Celebration

Dear Parents,

PDIS believes that grandparents play crucial role in the development of the child’s personality. We are pleased to inform you that we are celebrating the ‘Grandparents’ Day’ on 17th October, 2018 (i.e) Wednesday, during the school hours as per the schedule given below. We have planned some activities, wherein grandparents can participate enthusiastically.

• Children have to come in Traditional Attire for Navratri Celebration on 17th October, 2018.
• The activity should be done by the child with his/her grandparent/s only.

SUB : Annual Exhibition ‘ I3’- 2018-19

Dear Parents,

As you are aware, the Annual Exhibition ‘ I3’- 2018-19 is scheduled on 7th & 8th September, 2018, the students have been allotted Exhibition duty. You are requested to make a note of the points given below:

Instructions:

• Nursery, Jr. Kg and Sr. KG students will have holiday on 6th September, 2018 (i.e.) Thursday on account of Exhibition and its Arrangements.
• It is Mandatory for Nursery students to visit the exhibition. Parents are requested to accompany their child and visit the exhibition on 7th September,2018(i.e.) Friday) as per the timings in the invitation.
• The timings for the students of Jr. KG & Sr.KG on7th & 8th September,2018 will be from 9.30 am till 3:10 pm.
• Students will report to school in their regular school uniform with I-card and need to carry Lunch box, some dry snacks & a water bottle along with them.
• Transport facility will be available for those students who have availed bus facility.
  

Important Notes

• Students are supposed to visit the Exhibition in their regular school uniform when they are accompanied by their parents.
• Those parents who are interested to display their Exhibits for the exhibition are requested to submit before 6th September,2018
